Thank You, Dr. Gray!

Dr Gray,

Thank you for taking such great care of me. I made it a lot further in my pregnancy than I ever imagined!

Dr. Gray is an excellent advocate for her patients and her persistence and intervention likely prevented our son from suffering potentially life-altering birth complications. I went to the hospital at 36-weeks gestation for my third child’s delivery. I had previously delivered at 28-weeks and at 40-weeks gestation. While there were drastically different initial outcomes for those children (both healthy now), their labors progressed and felt identical to each other. This time around, I knew something was wrong. I was admitted on Tuesday morning and by evening, the epidural had not touched the pain and my labor was not progressing. My OB’s practice wanted to discharge me home on narcotic pain killers. Fortunately, Dr. Gray wanted to run some more tests and she trusted me that there was something different happening this time. Through her diligence and persistence over the next 24 hours, she discovered the cause of my pain and knew it could potentially put my son at risk. She advocated with the hospital to induce at 36-weeks so my baby and I could get the proper treatment. I’m so incredibly grateful for her care.

Dr. Gray, Thanks so much for doing so much fighting for us!  Thank you for delivering our gorgeous little girl and helping us to get donor milk.  It really means so much.  Since December when we met you, you have taken us under your wing and made us feel so special.  You are so incredibly passionate and we love that about you.
